hannaramaa | or Aries and Taurus, Aries and Pisces. Even if it's a small / insignificant aspect, I'd still like knowing the name. |
Odette | Aries and Scorpio are quincunx (which is also referred to as "inconjunct") - http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/inconjunctaspects.html Aries/Virgo are also quincunx. Every sign has two quincunxes and they are the signs before and after your opposite sign. Aries/Pisces, Aries/Taurus are semi-sextile: http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/semisextile.html |
somethingexcellent | They aren't small/insignificant! Well maybe the semisextile is but inconjuncts can be quite defining. The semisextile does present great opportunities though. They just seem small and insignificant because you learn to not look for them... |
Mercurian Intellect | ^And that's exactly right People are so caught up into looking at aspects only through the "major aspects" filter, that they completely fail to recognize the minor aspects that affect them. |
Kerosene | Idk I'm not an Aries tell me your observations with Scorpio ? Both Gemini and Scorpio inconjuncts. Maybe that's why we usually have some form of understanding or indifference. Scorpios mental manipulation has no use on Gemini. Same can be said of about Gemini's knack for absorbing information from others. scorpio does not open up so easily.. So both are either facinated or complety uninterested. Well I have mars inconjunct pluto. So I guess I'll say that both Aries and Scorpio are powerful signs, When two planets inconjunct they nessarily do not work together all the time simultaneously however they are aware of each others presence, I noticed being able to tap into both energies during times of crisis. In my case both mars and pluto are domicile so there is a mutual respect. So you can say that Aries and scorpio are both ruled by the same planet so there could be some respect or understanding. Yet both function on different levels of the same variety. Survival, power, strength etc. Same can be said about Libra and Taurus which both can inconjunct too. Love, art, and beauty. |
StarlightSmileSupreme | My friend's brother is a Gemini sun and he was married to a Scorpio sun until they divorced. I think this union would have lasted if not for the Gemini's personal problems that weren't really Geminian in nature. This doomed their union. As far as their basic natures minus the Gem's problems, they got along pretty well together and liked being with each other. The Gemini is really flirty compared to the Scorpio but he got quieter the longer they were together. Probably her influence. Considering she was the only one who could deal with him, they got along pretty well, I thought. Everyone else was like, no. |
Kerosene | ^ I'm not that flirty when I'm in serious relationships. It's just not respectful to my partner if I'm acting like a complete flirt 24/7.

He was only flirty when he drank and that's what doomed their relationship, all the drinking. Besides that, they were a lovely couple and she was a great influence on him, I thought, because she was very patient, quiet and clingy. |
Kerosene | Did he cheat or something? Honestly I don't know why people date others with qualities they don't like -___-.

I think they both cheated in the beginning of their relationship but that's not why they broke up. He can get kinda belligerent when drunk and is an alcoholic. Seriously, if he never drank I think they would still be together. A match made in heaven. Sad they broke up. |
Kerosene | Yeah drinking problems will pretty much ruin everything.... |

I didn't mean what their relationship was, just their aspect. I knew Gemini and Scorpio were quincunx, so for some reason in my little peanut brain I didn't think it would be quincunx Aries too since they rule the same planet. |

Thanks Odette! |
hannaramaa | What's interesting is I really like my Semi-Sextile and Quincunx friends. I understand them a lot better and like being around them equally as much. Then again, I have Vertext conj. Pluto in Scorpio and Virgo as my IC. Weird. Is that normal to be drawn to quincunx signs better than trine ones? |
